Black tie

Let down your hair for a night you won’t forget and change the lives of kids in need at the Variety Big Kids Ball – the most raucous black-tie event of the year.

All big kids are invited to enjoy a night of non-stop entertainment while helping to bring the joy of play to kids with disabilities.

The Variety Big Kids Ball will raise funds to build inclusive playgrounds so kids of all abilities can enjoy a favourite childhood pastime.

It is estimated 20 per cent of Australians have never been on a playground before due to their disability and Variety aims to change this.

“All Aussie kids deserve a fair go and the chance to feel they belong, and this is what we want to achieve by building inclusive playgrounds. Can you imagine what it would be like to have grown up never playing on a swing, or going down a slide simply because you have different abilities than other kids?” Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT CEO David Sexton said.

“Help us break down barriers for our kids and bring the joy of play. I can promise you a great night out where you can let your hair down, have some fun and help kids all at the same time.”

The night will be led by MC Karen Ledbury with a special guest performance by ARIA music award winner Diesel. A delicious four-course dinner will be designed by celebrity chefs Justin North and Dany Karam.

Book your tickets now and help give Aussie kids in need a fair go.
